Caring for each other - Participatory circles with local organizations

  • The Lavra Arroyo Grande, CA U.S.A. (map)

Participatory circles with locally-based social justice organizations

At 5:30pm

With : Caden Downey (Planned Parenthood California Central Coast), Chelsea Ruiz (SLO County UndocuSupport ) and Trista Ochoa (Transitions - Mental Health Association)

Join us for an evening of meeting local social justice organizations and connecting about ways to get involved!

We’ll start with a social time from 5:30 to 6pm. Then we’ll introduce our circles facilitators, learn about their organizations’ work, and break into different groups. Those participatory circles are aimed at helping people connect with themselves, share different viewpoints and imagine how they might want to be involved with caring for one another in the future. The circle facilitators will share some tools to spark meaningful conversations.

The goal of the evening is to inspire each of us to recognize our own power and abilities, and connect us with greater circles, within a safe and supportive environment.
