TALK - “Reclaiming the Darkness of the Womb”

  • The Lavra Arroyo Grande, CA U.S.A. (map)

Join us for a presentation and discussion with Sadie Krier about the history of menstruation and explore ancient traditions surrounding this period of cyclical darkness that can aid us in reconnecting to the beauty of duality within our bodies.

Sadie is an herbalist in her hometown of Nipomo, where she is working on healing the relationship between humans and the land. With a deep passion for healing through nature, women’s health, natural cycles and art, she is excited to share her experiences and training with her community and is hopeful for the future of herbalism on the central coast. She holds a certificate in herbalism from the California School of Herbal Studies, a B.A. In Environmental Studies from UC Santa Cruz and she is currently working on a clinical Ayurvedic certification through Dhyana Essentials. She is a member of the Central Coast Herbalists Guild and an artist at Mystic Nature and Slocally Made.
